In this program, I’ve got two top-shelf artists and their amazing works that we’ll be highlighting on the program. First up, the incomparable Abul Mogard has reissued his 2022 release “In a Few Places Along the River”, and whether it’s your first time hearing the album or your one-hundredth, it’s captivating all the same. And later in the program, the extremely imaginative and inventive duo that is Ah! Kosmos and Hainbach are back with a second full-length LP entitled “Gentle Hum” and is chock full of all the experimental goodness that we’ve come to expect!
In this program, we're giving a little extra love to analog synthesizers, and my two featured artists have got the ticket to our analog bliss. First up in the program, Grant Beasley from the United Kingdom has a new record out on Cyclical Dreams that has blown my mind and transported me to distant worlds with his new release "The Vanishing Point", and Moscow-based artist Chronos takes us on a guided tour of his impressive analog and digital synthesizer museum with a stunning live performance captured in his album "Synthesizer Museum Live".
In this episode of The STOLACE RELAY STATION, we're grabbing our daypack and some sustenance because we're going on a trek for the mind through field recordings and ambient soundscapes. My featured artist on the program is AITIA from the Netherlands, and we also take a moment to check out the brand new album from Bill Seaman, Tim Diagram, and Stephen Spera. Plus the music of Taylor Deupree, Resonating Echoes, Kajsa Magnarsson, Eafhm, Akhira Sano, and Ah! Kosmos & Hainbach.
